Finally in Francoise!

Saturday 18th May

Bonjour, well here we are in France! Everything went like clockwork. We had a fantastic time last night in our luxury hotel in and managed to fly from Lisbon to Toulouse without any hitches and now suddenly find ourselves in the town called Girac found in the Lot region set up in a cabin that if pretty basic but in a beautiful camp ground with the river Dordogne flowing past very fast I might add.  We have been up since 4.30am and now it is 6pm so we are pretty tired. We stocked up the cupboards and have our washing on the go after a couple of weeks of living out of a suitcase so we are now going to kick back and enjoy the region which seems to have so much to offer.  The resort only has a few people here and there is a swimming pool but only 22-23 degrees, if mum were here she wouldn't baulk at this temperature but the main thing is that it is not raining, just a little overcast. Tomorrow we will go and investigate one of the many activities we can do which range from bike or horse riding, canoeing, walking or just simply driving around all the old villages.
