Well we have all arrived safely in a town called Terni which is not an ancient village. It is near an industrial area. The trip here was 40km and we went right through the mountains and beautiful landscape. We chose to walk up the steep climb which was up to 16 degrees in gradient through beautiful country and then we collected our bikes again and rode down a long windy gravel road. From here we had a gentle climb for quite a few kilometres and then the reward came, we had a fantastic downhill ride on smooth bitumen for about 5 kilometres and we all let loose. I have never ridden so fast, I was behind Gary and at the end of the decline he turned to see me not far behind him and he was quite shocked that I had followed him so closely. Tomorrow is our last day of cycling and it looks like a big day ahead of us. We will soon be going to dinner again so I want to get this blog sent off. Until tomorrow, love Chel and Gary xx
