One More Sleep!

Well this is us, one small suitcase each and a cycling helmet for five weeks.   Gary said they didn't wear helmets in Europe but I don't care if I look like a weird Auzzie but those hilly roads in Italy will be just as hard as ours in Australia as well as it will keep my head dry if it rains and hopefully in one piece if I fall, which isn't going to happen of course. Queensland Rail decided to do track work tomorrow so we can't get the train to Brisbane International Airport but luckily Tanya is going to drive us. Apart from the pouring rain this is the first hiccup that we have encountered. Travel is always full of unpredictable things so now the excitement starts. A good night sleep and we are in the air at 2:40 pm tomorrow with Singapore Airlines! We should be in Florence by Sunday morning our time, sipping cappuccinos and eating biscotti. (me anyway) I can't wait to send the first pics.  David here we come!
