We finally made it after leaving the Gold Coast 36 hours ago! We lost 8 hours in time so we are trying to stay awake. We already strolled down the river to Ponte Vecchio and tomorrow we will see some more famous sites. It is overcast but 23degree so it is perfect. I have attach a few photos just to remind you how beautiful it is here. I can't wait until tomorrow to really start to enjoy the culture. Here is what we saw this afternoon. ReplyDeleteAre you going to the Accademia today to see David? There is a great Piazza where they is a copy of David, it is called Piazzo Della Signoria. David was there originally, but moved it inside, there are some wonderful sculptures there.
Make sure you climb the stairs in the Dome, while in the Duomo, the view from the top is spectacular.
